Things have been primed, items have been trimmed from sprues. 12 bikes now have their tyres sprayed back – I just need to create some jazzy colour schemes for the frames. Oh and 16 buffer stops have had a coat of matt varnish
Casper continues to make progress – my recreation of 153305.
Another coat of grey is required on the doors, before varnishing reassembly and decals.
Hopefully another couple of weeks and he’ll looking more like the mainline version. Unfortunately drying time is a bit slow at this time of year because of the cold weather in the garage.
I have seen 153305 in a few places since its transfer from GWR with appearances on Hull – Bridlington a few times. He’s seen below at York
I found some bits I ordered from Shapeways a while ago whilst tidying up tonight so they are next on the to do list.
